We partner with Radio Lumiere and MEBSH to build lasting projects, train the next generation, and walk alongside our Haitian friends for the long haul.
Least of These Ministries supports Radio Lumiere's ministry of Gospel outreach, teaching, music, and public safety communication, and assists with disaster relief and unmet needs. We also serve alongside MEBSH — a network of over 460 churches and more than 400 schools across Haiti — plus initiatives in the USA and around the world for those with nowhere else to turn.

Whenever possible, we include students and young adults on our projects, exposing them to construction-related vocational skills that can open doors to a career or further training.

We buy local, hire local, and stay in relationship long after a project ends. Long-term partnership — not short-term hand-outs — is how real change takes root.

Radio Lumiere leadership draws up a prioritized capital projects list. We review it and take on the highest-priority project we're able to assist with — then handle fundraising, recruiting personnel, and procuring materials, typically working about a year in advance.
We believe it's important to expose people to training and educational opportunities, especially construction-related skills. A little exposure can open the door to a career decision, further training, or a skill someone can use to earn a living. We also help further the education of current and prospective Radio Lumiere employees — a win-win.
Many agencies decide what they think the priorities are and leave without their hosts ever taking ownership. We're different. We build personal relationships with the Haitians we work with, keep in contact long after a project ends, and buy local materials and services wherever reasonable — using local labor instead of imported machinery.

Our primary work is in Haiti alongside Radio Lumiere and its parent organization, the Mission Évangélique Baptiste du Sud d'Haïti (MEBSH). Radio Lumiere reaches Haitians with the Gospel, teaching, music, and life-saving public safety communication.
We also have initiatives in the USA and around the world to provide assistance to needy people who may have no other source of help or support.
100% of every donation supports our work in partnership with Radio Lumiere and MEBSH.
